Monday in San Juan!

I got up again in time for Morning Stretch.  I guess the time change got to people, so it was just Ron, myself and one other cruiser!  We then headed down to Blu for breakfast...and were apparently the only people in Aquaclass up at 7:40.

Breakfast smoothies
Museli, made tableside!
Egg white omelette with cheese, green onion, ham and mushrooms

We had a morning nap, and then as suggested by the buffet host upstairs we went to the Main Dining Room's Brunch.  Holy moly, what a spread!!!

A cookie windmill, or course!
Such a functional ice sculpture!
There were a few desserts...
And this incredibly large chocolate fountain

I think this paella pan was close to three feet across
We went to another shopping seminar (focused on negotiation approaches) and then arrived in San Juan - so nice to sail in during the day!

Forts abound

It was a much bigger city than I imagined!
We walked up through Old Town and did some shopping - got some bamboo shirts from Cariloha, collected free stuff and took pictures of interesting stuff we saw.

Ron liked this cool old door
Important thing we learned about San Juan.  Check out the new bamboo hat! 3 degrees cooler than cotton!
Bunches of mostly free stuff from San Juan - we paid to upgrade the free midnight sapphire stone to a pendant
Got back to the ship nice an early (we didn't depart until 10 pm) and went for a swim and hot tub and Persian Garden goodness.  Then off to dinner!

The elusive double breadstick.

Baked brie.

Short ribs!

Squab and awesome squash.

Passion fruit goodness.

Something else delicious!
We went back to the room, but I ventured out for the Masque Theme party in the atrium!  As promised by our cruise director on the Morning Program, it was Marie Antoinette meets Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Performers awaiting their cue.
Hey - where'd those skirts go?

Its a ballroom blitz!
